·Promoted by Ex- Bankers from State Bank of India with cream of experience in Treasury and Forex Operations.
·Started Money Changing operations authorised by the Reserve Bank of India.
·Tie up with American Express & Thomas cook for retailing their Travellers Cheques .

1996
·Relationship with Shipping Corporation established and encashment services offered on board their ships with RBI permission, ensuring customization of services as per the needs of the customer.
·Got Berth in the "Top Ten" sellers of American Express TC in India.

1997
·Tied up with a Forex Consultancy based in Western India for promoting the services related to Foreign Exchange Advisory Services down in South India.
·Induction of Mr. N. Nageswaran, ex-banker from State Bank of India and an expert in Foreign Exchange related matters into VKC Board.
·First Branch inaugurated in Tirupur, Knitting City of India exporting 1 Billion USD of fabrics.
·Got a position amongst "Top Ten" American Express TC sellers

1998
·Opening of Branches & Commencement of operations at Bangalore, Cochin and Coimbatore.
·Became sole selling agent for "American Express" Traveller's Cheques

1999
·Opening of second Branch at Chennai and branches in Thane & Secunderabad.
·First FFMC to obtain permission from RBI, for making Foreign Exchange Sales to Corporates for their Travel purpose through EEFC A/c.

2000
·Opening of Branches at Mumbai, Kolkata , Delhi & Whitefield.
·Got the major IT accounts "Infosys" and "Satyam" to our Fold and started servicing in-house for their forex requirements across the country
·Launched the group website www.vkcforex.com with facilities for online Ordering and servicing of forex requirements.
·Ranked "4th" in the AMEX TC sales across the country

2001
·Opened a branch at Mysore, the city of palaces to serve the tourist people.
·In recognition of our In House Systems and Procedures, permitted by Amex to directly send settlement files to their Global Process Centre at Salt Lake City, USA.
·Tied up with "Wall Street Finance" and started the "Western Union" Money transfer activities
·Ranked once again "4th" in the AMEX TC sales across the country.

2002
·Opening of Branches at Pune & Pondicherry and second branch in New Delhi.
·First Money changer in India, to get permission from RBI for appointment of Franchisees to carrry out Restricted Money Changing Activity.
